• About LeCoultre: Dating all the way back to 1833, LeCoultre was founded in Vallée de Joux, Switzerland and rapidly became one of the largest producers of watch calibers, even producing movement blanks for the likes of Patek Philippe in the early 20th century. Following an exclusive contract between LeCoultre, Cartier, and French inventor Edmond Jaeger to produce slim pocket watch calibers for Cartier, LeCoultre and Jaeger teamed up in 1937 to form Jaeger-LeCoultre. Up until 1985 - Tariff restrictions caused all models meant for the American market to be produced as LeCoultre models. Good, overall condition for its age. Running, but we dont know the last time it was serviced. This means, it can run unreliably, start or stop and timekeeping is not guaranteed. There are scratches on the case. There are scratches on the crystal. The hands have some fading. The band is not original. Stunning LeCoultre bumper offered in a 10k gold filled case. Case is overall in fair shape with minimal dents and shows consistently light signs of wear and age. Dial and crystal are good. Running strong at about +10 with an amplitude around 220.
