Explore the history of Baylor watches

A Brief Introduction
"Baylor" was a private label for Zale's, a major Texas-based jewelry chain founded in 1924. From the 1950s through the 1970s, Baylor Watch Co. was part of the Benrus group and had a strong U.S. presence through Zale's retail operations. Heuer, notably, produced numerous watches for Zale's under the Baylor name during this period. The line included sports and dress watches, particularly known for its triple calendar and three-hand models, as well as some chronographs. It's important for collectors to note that not all Baylor watches on the market were made by Heuer.
