At The Watch Preserve, we believe that a vintage watch is more than an instrument for telling time. It is a vessel of history, a masterpiece of craftsmanship, and a story waiting to be told.
Our Story: Preserving More Than Just Time
From Fort Worth to the World
Our roots are proudly planted in Texas, with our flagship storefront located on the vibrant Magnolia Avenue in Fort Worth's Near Southside. In 2025, we expanded our family by acquiring Watch Works in Wichita, Kansas, bringing our commitment to quality and service to a new community of watch lovers. While our physical locations provide a tangible connection to the world of vintage watches, our online presence has allowed us to build a thriving community of collectors across the country and around the world.
With an ever-growing inventory of over 1,400 timepieces and a dedicated following online, we have become a trusted source for buying, selling, and trading vintage and modern watches. From iconic brands like Rolex and Omega to rare and unusual finds, each watch in our collection is carefully authenticated, ensuring you can collect with confidence.
Our Commitment to You
At The Watch Preserve, our mission extends beyond commerce. We are dedicated to providing an experience that is as authentic and enduring as the watches we sell. This commitment is built on a foundation of core values that guide every interaction and decision we make.
Meet The Founder
Founded by Nikolaus Libby, whose fascination with watches was sparked at age 15, The Watch Preserve was born from a deep-seated appreciation for the intricate mechanics and timeless beauty of vintage timepieces. What started as a young man's hobby, buying and selling watches on eBay, quickly evolved into a lifelong dedication. After completing the rigorous Paris Junior College Horology Program, Nik set out to create a watch business that valued preservation and passion over pretension and price tags.
