About the Brand
LeCoultre: Dating back to 1833, LeCoultre was founded in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland and quickly became one of the most important producers of watch movements. The company supplied calibers to many prestigious brands and later partnered with French inventor Edmond Jaeger, forming Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1937. Due to tariff restrictions, watches destined for the American market were branded simply as LeCoultre until 1985. Today, Jaeger-LeCoultre is widely regarded as one of the finest Swiss watchmakers, known for its elegant and technically accomplished timepieces.
