Early Triple Register Heuer Chronograph ref 48557 housing a Valjoux 72 in fair condition. Running quite well with a bit of wear throughout the casing. Chronograph runs extremely strong. Extremely classic piece for any collection as it shows the history of Heuer.
About the brand: Picture a race car driver in 1970, and there’s a good chance they're wearing a Heuer chronograph. The brand is well known for its stylish sports models such as the Autavia and Carrera, and have been involved in the motorsport world since the 1930’s. In 1985, the Tag group purchased Heuer, creating the brand we know today as Tag Heuer. Models made under the Heuer name are highly desirable, and are known for their iconic vintage styles.
