The Hamilton Bates is a rare mid-century modern men's wristwatch originally released in 1955. It is highly sought after by collectors due to its short production run—appearing in only a single Hamilton catalog—and its distinctive avant-garde design

About the Brand
Hamilton: Producing its first pocket watches in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1892, Hamilton is one of the most recognizable names in American watchmaking. Although production moved to Switzerland in 1969, the brand’s American-made catalog remains extensive and highly regarded. With strong ties to military history and pop culture, Hamilton continues to offer both well-made modern watches and a deep archive of desirable vintage pieces.
