- About Benrus: Founded in 1921 in New York City - Benrus made its mark as a producer of fine watches. Importing Swiss movements and casing them in the City, Benrus found its way into specialized production very quickly, as by 1929 they produced the official watch for United Airlines. In the 1960’s - the brand really took off, and produced watches for troops in Vietnam, as well as many iconic dive and sport models such as the Ultra Deep and Type II. The brand is still around today, producing watches in the same vein as their most iconic models.

Fair, overall condition for its age. Running, but we dont know the last time it was serviced. This means, it can run unreliably, start or stop and timekeeping is not guaranteed. There are scratches on the case. There are scratches on the crystal. The dial has scratches and discoloration. The lume has faded. The band is not original. The hacking function does not work. Fairly aged miltiary style case, same model as seen on Steve McQueen in the movie Bullitt. Not keeping time with a low ampltidue.
