- About Accutron: Introduced in 1960 by Bulova, the Accutron movement was the world's first tuning fork electronic movement. Boasting unheard of accuracy, Accutron watches adorned the wrists of state officials and astronauts. NASA used Accutron powered movements in all their spacecraft for their supreme accuracy. In 2008, the Citizen Group acquired Bulova and Accutron, and while they continue to produce watches under names such as the “Astronaut” and “Spaceview”, the bread and butter of this brand lies in their treasure trove of vintage models.
