- About Benrus: Founded in 1921 in New York City - Benrus made its mark as a producer of fine watches. Importing Swiss movements and casing them in the City, Benrus found its way into specialized production very quickly, as by 1929 they produced the official watch for United Airlines. In the 1960’s - the brand really took off, and produced watches for troops in Vietnam, as well as many iconic dive and sport models such as the Ultra Deep and Type II. The brand is still around today, producing watches in the same vein as their most iconic models.

Product Condition
Fair, overall condition for its age. Running, but we dont know the last time it was serviced. This means, it can run unreliably, start or stop and timekeeping is not guaranteed. There are scratches on the case. There are scratches on the crystal. There is light discoloration on the dial. The hands have some fading. The band is not original. Military issue Benrus from 1971 in fair shape. Case has scratches but no major marks. Lume is long gone and dial has fading. Running strong at -10 with amplitude just below 300.
