Item Description
The formal name from Bulova for this 1970 watch is Chronograph C. It is much more commonly known as the Stars and Stripes. One look at this dial and you where the name came from. It is a great mixture of red, white, and blue. The case is huge for the time at 43mm in diameter. The case size is one aspect that fits more modern tastes but was oversized for the era. This is powered by a Valjoux 7736, the chronograph has the second, minute, and hour counter. It shows normal signs of wear for its age with scratches on the case. The crystal is not original causing there to be a little space between it and the dial. This is causing just a slight bit of rattle from the movement moving around inside the case. This has been recently serviced and the chronograph functions great.
