Baylor Watches was a private-label brand created for Zales, the Texas-based jewelry chain founded in 1924. From the 1950s through the 1970s, Baylor operated under the Benrus umbrella and maintained a strong U.S. retail presence through Zales locations. During this period, several manufacturers produced watches under the Baylor name, including notable examples made by Heuer. The lineup included dress and sport watches, with triple calendar, three-hand, and select chronograph designs. While Heuer-produced examples are well regarded, it’s important to note that not all Baylor watches were made by Heuer.
