About the Brand
Benrus: Founded in 1921 in New York City, Benrus built its reputation as a producer of fine watches using Swiss movements cased in the United States. The brand quickly entered specialized production, creating watches for commercial aviation and later for military use. During the mid-20th century, Benrus gained prominence for its rugged tool and sport watches. The brand still exists today, continuing to produce watches inspired by its historic designs.
