About the Brand
Accutron: Introduced in 1960 by Bulova, Accutron revolutionized watchmaking with the world’s first tuning fork electronic movement. Offering unprecedented accuracy, Accutron-powered watches were worn by state officials and astronauts alike, and the technology was used by NASA in spacecraft instrumentation. Acquired by the Citizen Group in 2008, the brand continues today, though its greatest appeal lies in its remarkable collection of vintage timepieces.
