Additional Information: The Benrus Model BA4 is a vintage manual-wind dress watch from the 1950s, characterized by its rectangular, Art Deco-inspired gold-filled case. It features the BA4 movement, and a 17-jewel caliber design.
About the brand: Founded in 1921 in New York City - Benrus made its mark as a producer of fine watches. Importing Swiss movements and casing them in the City, Benrus found its way into specialized production very quickly, as by 1929 they produced the official watch for United Airlines. In the 1960’s - the brand really took off, and produced watches for troops in Vietnam, as well as many iconic dive and sport models such as the Ultra Deep and Type II. The brand is still around today, producing watches in the same vein as their most iconic models.
